Ramba’s wedding, a grand affair

It was 12.50 pm Thursday and Ramba became Mrs Indiran at a grand wedding ceremony in the holy Tirumala, as Canada-based entrepreneur Indiran Padmanathan tied the nuptial knot with the actress.

The families of the actress and the groom were in attendance and the wedding at Karnataka Kalayana Mandapam in the pilgrim centre was marked by a slew of religious ceremonies. 50 dishes in breakfast menu and 35 varieties in lunch menu gave a filling experience to the guests.

Among those who attended the wedding were director R K Selvamani with his wife Roja, choreographer Kala and members of the TV reality show Maanada Mayilada, for which Ramba was one of the judges.

A wedding reception has been planned at Rani Meyyammai Hall in Chennai on 11 April in which who is who of Tamil and Telugu film industries are expected to participate. After the reception, the couple will leave for honeymoon.
